“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.” – Marianne Williamson
Now, if there’s a direct correlation to my creative procrastination and the measure of my power…. then I have some damn POWER. Recent musings and readings bring me to believe the best way to tap into it is by surrendering.
By starting (TODAY) with action and releasing any guilt or self-resentment for the lack of my past efforts.
By not trying to manipulate people or a situation despite us being taught to manipulate from the crib.
“It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.”
By allowing my true self to surface and flipping SHINE. To not act based on how I think others desire me to be or in a certain way to get something I want.
By rejecting complacency and the disgruntled feeling that comes from how much time or effort lies in the space between where I am and where I want to be.
By not getting tangled in the how. Releasing the need for control & the desire to know how something will play out. Placing trust that it is working out.
By enjoying the journey of life’s beautiful ebbs & flows. Because even the contrast of life illuminates.
“As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
